Apartments in Venice with Murano Grand Canal Views and Private Garden
Ca’ Mazzega has three splendid, fully restored and finely furnished apartments located in the historical centre of Venice, on the quiet and calm island of Murano. They are hidden away from the crowds of tourists that now fill the narrow Venetian streets, and yet have extremely convenient transport links, allowing you to visit easily all the most beautiful islands of our Lagoon.
Murano is world famous for its ancient glass-working industry, which here reached the highest Historical Artistic Expressions and is now turning its gaze to Modernity and the highest forms of Contemporary Design. A centuries-long journey which you can explore fully during a visit to the splendid rooms of the Glass Museum located just a few steps from our apartments, or you can discover it in the elegant exhibition spaces of the Mazzega Glass Factory, which showcases the best Murano products created by the refined, skilful and ever new artistic talents of this island.
The apartments are located in a building constructed in 1890 alongside the bright Fondamenta Sebastiano Venier, at house numbers 30 and 29F, just in front of the ACTV “Venier” waterbus stop of the same name. Two of our apartments have an incomparable view of Murano’s Grand Canal, one of our city’s main canals and among the most romantic of the entire Venetian Lagoon.
Surroundings and apartments
The 14th-century Palazzo da Mula, now the Town Hall, the adjacent Ponte Lino Toffolo, the so-called ‘Ponte Longo’, the ancient Church of San Pietro Martire with its distinct Renaissance features and the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli form a fabulous architectural backdrop to the splendid sunsets that you can admire from the comfort of the spacious living rooms of our apartments.
Our Bedrooms face the back of the house, where you will find our peaceful Private Garden and each apartment’s Exclusive Outdoor Spaces that Our Guests can use every day during the summer months to sunbathe as well as to simply enjoy their Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner surrounded by greenery and peace.
The Villa, on the other hand, is located in the building’s fantastic garden and is surrounded by greenery and quiet. It benefits from exclusive access to the large outdoor area with all its comforts. It’s perfect for a relaxing stay.
